***General Introduction***
This dataset is part of Subodh Dubey's PhD thesis project within the CriticalMaaS project in the department of Transport and Planning, Faculty of Civil Engineering.
The data was collected through a stated preference survey designed to understand the preference of individuals towards mobility-on-demand services. The target group constitutes the Dutch population above the age of 18 years.

***Description of the data in this dataset***
Majority of the columns are properly labelled and are self-explanatory.
Below we provide some details for columns which are coded using numeric labels:

Currently_used_mode : 1:Auto, 2:Train, 3:Bus, 4:Tram, 5:Bike

Every respondent (Person_ID) faces 15 (Chice_task_ID) discrete choice among five options with attributes such as travel time, wait time, travel cost, access and egress time, and type of ride (shared or private).
All the options attributes are labelled using the following design :
Alternative number (Alt1 to Alt5) + - + attribute name (travel time, wait time, travel cost, access and egress time, and type of ride (shared or private))
for example, for option1, all the attributes are labbelled as following:
Alt1_wait_time
Alt1_travel_time
Alt1_travel_cost
Alt1_shared
Alt1_access_time
Alt1_egress_time

* All the travel, wait, access and egress times are in minutes,
* Cost is in euros.
* The chosen option is indicated as a number (1,2,3,4 or 5) in column Chosen_alternative.

The departure time (in mins) for 5 options are provided in columns:
Alt1_Dept_time
Alt2_Dept_time
Alt3_Dept_time
Alt4_Dept_time
Alt5_Dept_time

The actual travel and waiting time is provided in columns: Actual_travel_time	Actual_wait_time
Please note that values are shifted one row below for ease in calculation. That is, the actual travel and wait time for the chosen option reported in row m can be found in row m+1.

For access and egress modes, LRT corresponds to tram or metro.

For each respondent, gender is reported in columns: Male,Female
Occupation is reported in columns: Employed,Student,Looking_for_work,Retired,Unemployed,Others
Education is reported in columns: High_school,Bachelors,Masters,PhD
