***General Introduction***
This dataset contains two file: (1) "Study1_SPSS.sav" and (2) "Study2_SPSS.sav". The first contains data gathered by Stereotype of Teenage Cancer Patients Questionnaire (STCPQ), tool developed by the authors. The second one contains data gathered by Implicit Association Test contrasting teenage cancer patients with teenagers as a reference category. Both tools were characterized in the paper "Explicit and implicit attitudes of teenagers and young adults towards peers with cancer" submitted to Journal of Psychosocial Oncology (Print ISSN: 0734-7332 Online ISSN: 1540-7586) in July 2020.

The data in this dataset was collected in the Educational Microprocesses Laboratory - Institute of Educational Sciences, between October 2019 and March 2020.

***Objectives of the Study 1 and Study 2***
An attempt to (1) provide formal and content characteristic of the stereotype of teenage cancer patient, (2) quantify explicit and implicit prejudice against them.

***Description of the data in this data set***
Both files contain raw data from Study 1 and Study 2, respectively. Columns represent variable names and rows represent reactions of respondents. Data of Study 1 contains open-ended descriptions and their assessments (the first part), and assessments of adjectives (scale 0-6) represented teenage cancer patients (the second part). Data of Study 2 contains reactions of participants obtained in the IAT (in milliseconds). The IAT effect was calculated as difference in average response times in task 3 and task 5.
The STCPQ and the IAT were added to submitted paper as the Appendix 1 and 2, respectively.
