NaBH4 Regeneration Dataset
==========================

1. Introductory Information
---------------------------
Title: NaBH4 Regeneration Dataset

File Description:
- NaBH4_regeneration_dataset.xlsx: Contains experimental and simulation data related to the regeneration of sodium borohydride (NaBH4) using high-energy ball milling.

File Format:
- The dataset is provided in Microsoft Excel format (.xlsx).

File Naming Convention:
- The file is named "NaBH4_regeneration_dataset.xlsx" and includes all relevant tabular data in a single sheet.

File Relationships:
- This dataset is self-contained and does not require additional files for interpretation. However, to understand the methodology carried out to get these values, we refer to https://doi.org/10.1016/j.powtec.2025.120919 AND https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ijhydene.2024.11.360

2. Data Specific Information
----------------------------
Column Headings and Definitions:
- Case: Unique identifier for each experimental condition.
- BPR: Ball-to-powder ratio on a mass basis.
- Mol ratio: Molar ratio of sodium borohydride (NaBH4) to magnesium hydride (MgH2).
- Time [h]: Milling time in hours.
- Mean En [μJ]: Mean normal energy dissipated per collision, obtained from discrete element method (DEM) simulations, in microjoules (μJ).
- Mean Et [μJ]: Mean tangential energy dissipated per collision from DEM simulations, in microjoules (μJ).
- Collision freq per ball [s^-1]: Specific collision frequency per ball, measured in reciprocal seconds (s^-1).
- Yield [%]: Degree of conversion (yield) through the mechanochemical regeneration reaction of NaBH4, in percentage (%).

Units of Measurement:
- Time is recorded in hours (h).
- Energy values are recorded in microjoules (μJ).
- Collision frequency is recorded in inverse seconds (s^-1).
- Yield is recorded in percent (%).
