Description:				WALCAL-FFs (1990-2022), the flood fatalities database in western Algeria and Calabria (south Italy), is a database that contains 242 cases 
                                        of flood fatalities that occurred throughout 33 years in two study areas of the Mediterranean (western Algeria and Calabria, southern Italy).
					WALCAL-FFs (1990-2022) provides not only the fatalities number but also detailed information about the time and place of fatal accidents, victim
                                        characteristics, circumstances of death, victim behaviors, and hydro-rainfall characteristics of fatal events and their classification. Flood 
                                        fatality cases are georeferenced for greater accuracy, allowing analyses of fatality distribution with respect to geographic and demographic data.
                                        The fields of the database are filled only for the cases in which the information were available, otherwise the field is marked with UNKNOWN.
