This archive contains the data used for publication in Optica [1]. The folder "Alexa 430" contains the arrival histograms for the alexa 430 molecule, as a function of spacer thickness. The spacer thickness is mentioned in the file name. Also a data set of Alexa 430 on glass is included. Each row is a histogram bin, 16 ps wide, where the number indicates the number of photons in the bin. Similar data is contained in the folder "Perylene coarse", with the same format. No data on glass is available, however. The folder "Perylene fine" contains the lifetime data of the TPD molecule as a function of spacer thickness, where now the range between 3 and 5 nm is sampled with steps of 0.33 nm. Here the format is as follows: First column: photon arrival time in picoseconds Second column: photon delay time in picoseconds (i.e., time after laser trigger) The timing resolution is 16 ps. Finally, the file laser.dat contains the instrument response, and has the same format as the data of the TPD fluorescence lifetime sampled with spacer steps of 0.33 nm. [1] Robert J.
