It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work. The data in this data set was collected in the Voortrekker Hospital (Limpopo Province, South Africa) between June and December 2012. The research project was made possible by funding from the North-West University. **Purpose of the test campaign*** The purpose of these investigation was to explore the efficacy of the intervention implemented in decreasing repeat suicidal thoughts and behaviours ***Test equipment*** The data was collected using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), Modified Scale for Suicidal Ideations (MSSI), the Hope Scale and the Resilience Scale (RS 25).
