****General Introduction****
Each sheet in the excel file provides data required to reproduce the figures and samples figures are plotted in each respective sheet.
All the sub-figures are presented separately in each sheet of the excel file.
The datasets are produced from micromechanical testing on smooth flat quartz wiht gouges (montmorillonite and crushed aggregates) to understand the particle-scale behaviour of geological structures such as rockjoints or faults.
Below is the information for each sheet in the excel file. The column headings for the data are self explanatory in the excel file.
