Keynote Speaker Sarah Jones on 'The Do's and Don'ts of Supporting Open Science'

09/26/2020

Celebrating 4TU.ResearchData's role in Open Science | 29 September 2020, 15.30-17.30 hrs (CEST)   #10years4TUResearchData

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Jones as keynote speaker during our upcoming (online) anniversary celebration and renewed repository launch event* on Tuesday, 29 September!

Sarah's talk, entitled The dos and don’ts of supporting Open Science, will reflect on the driving forces for practicing open science principles and approaches in research and higher education, as well as on opportunities to support this culture change. She will touch on the common pitfalls made in the higher education space and point to examples of good practice in enabling research communities to adopt Open Science. Proposals will be made for how the sector should move forward collectively and the potential for change through initiatives such as the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), followed by the opportunity for participants to pose questions and offer insights from their own experience during a round of Q&A.
