The past decade has seen more scientists engaging with data as part of their research and beginning to tackle the FAIR principles within their own disciplines. 4TU.ResearchData will provide extensive help in forwarding this agenda, helping develop standards and facilitating the flow of data from creation all the way through to publication.
We will continue to serve as the provide trusted repository for long-term
access to data that the engineering, design and sciences research community has
come to recognise. While continuing to expand these archiving services, we aim
to also:
- Build discipline-specific networks to stimulate the creation and re-use of FAIR research data
- Provide online services for scientists using specific formats such as NetCDF
- Offer training related to software and data management
- Provide tools for sharing and documenting data before publication
