Collaboration

4TU.ResearchData work closely with collaboration partners and participates in various (inter)national projects and networks to ensure the accessibility of scientific research.

The Carpentries


The Carpentries - The 4TU.Centre for Research Data started collaborating with The Carpentries in 2018 to deliver Software Carpentry workshops for researchers from partner universities of 4TU.ResearchData. In addition to Software Carpentry workshops, we collaborate with researchers to develop and deliver discipline-specific data carpentry workshops.

Research Data Netherlands (RDNL)

With this coalition, which is also open to other parties, the three data archives join forces in the area of long-term data archiving.

Landelijk Coordinatiepunt Research Data Management

DataverseNL

DataCite

DataCite - DataCite is a leading global non-profit organisation that provides persistent identifiers (DOIs) for research data. The goal is to help the research community locate, identify, and cite research data with confidence. 4TU.ResearchData is collaborating with DataCite by assigning Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to datasets.

Data Seal of Approval

The 4TU.ResearchData archive is one of the archives qualified with a DSA.

Research Data Alliance (RDA)

Research Data Alliance (RDA) - The Research Data Alliance builds the social and technical bridges that enable open sharing of data through working groups and interest groups, formed of experts from around the world. In 2014, 4TU.ResearchData was one of the hosts of  the RDA Plenary Meeting in Amsterdam.

CESAER

Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER) - CESAER is a non-profit international association of leading European universities of science and technology and engineering schools/faculties at comprehensive universities and university colleges. 4TU.ResearchData contributes to the CESAER group on Research Data.
