In this paper, we highlight the dominant patterns of deformation during a finger slippage, and we show that they are sufficient to estimate the distance between the frictional force and the frictional strength of the contact, defined by the safety margin.
The raw data include images of the participants' fingerprints, which are sensitive, so they will be available only upon request.
