N2 -
Data and scripts used in the publication: Mechanically Stable Kondo Resonance in Organic Molecular Junctions. An MCBJ setup was used to measure two organic radical molecules with different substitutions of the central benzene ring of the molecular backbone at both room- and low-temperature. The goal was to investigate the impact of quantum interference in the backbone on spin-related phenomena. At room-temperature, large sets of breaking traces were collected at a constant bias voltage and histograms were constructed. At low-temperature, current-voltage characteristics were recorded while increasing the electrode separation. We find that the configuration of the molecular backbone affects the coupling of the radical to the electrode.
