<p>Our work investigates the time-evolution paradox of quantum states in relation to the conflicting predictions of quantum mechanics and thermodynamics. Here, we experimentally demonstrate this paradox in linear quantum optics. </p>
<p>The data set provided contains the underlying experimental and simulated data, along with the post-processing and simulation code used to generate the figures presented in our work. </p>
