This data set pertains to the PhD dissertation "Shaping Anisotropy - 3D Printing of Liquid Crystal Polymers".
The aim of the thesis is to explore the combination of anisotropy and shaping freedom provided by the 3D-printing of LCPs, and to investigate how this combination can improve mechanical performance. The datasets contain the mechanical tests linked to the figures in the thesis, divided by chapters.
Chapter 3 - 3D-printing of flow-inspired anisotropic patterns with LCP. Additional source code available on Gitlab: https://gitlab.tudelft.nl/shapingmatterlab/slith3r
Chapter 4 - Wood-inspired interlocking junctions using 3D-printed LCP.
Chapter 5 - 3D-printing of LCP for space applications.
