We measured a transmon qubit coupled to an High-overtone Bulk Acoustic Resonator (HBAR) which was fabricated in the cleanroom of Kavli Nanolab Delft.
The fabricated chip was cooled down to ~20 mK in a commercially bought cryofree dilution refrigerator (Oxford Instruments Triton 200). All measurements (single and two tone spectroscopy) were performed on a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA, Keysight PNA N5222A, 10MHz-26.5 GHz) which was connected to the sample using microwave RF cables. Using additional signal generators (Rohde & Schwarz, SMB 100A, 100 kHz - 12.75 GHz) we were able to produce more needed continuous wave tone to AC-Stark shift the qubit. A pulse generator (Rigol DG1022) in combination with a microwave switch (Taylor MW switch SBS-A01TS), both connected to the VNA were used to performed gated two tone spectroscopy for time domain measurement.
