%X <p>Data underlying the publication: Somhorst et al.,&nbsp;Quantum simulation of thermodynamics in an integrated quantum photonic processor (2023).</p><p>Our work investigates the time-evolution paradox of quantum states in relation to the conflicting predictions of quantum mechanics and thermodynamics.&nbsp;Here, we experimentally demonstrate this paradox in linear quantum optics.&nbsp;</p><p>The data set provided contains the underlying experimental and simulated data, along with the post-processing and simulation code used to generate the figures presented in our work.&nbsp;</p>
