Its estuary is characterized as macrotidal with a tidal range at the mouth of 7-8 m. The river length is 63 km and its tidal limit (farthest point where the tidal water level fluctuations are observed) is approximately 21 km. This dataset includes water level measurements at multiple locations along the estuary (0.16 km, 3.6 km, 4.5 km, 8.12 km, 17.7 km) and discharge measurements at two cross-sections (3.6 km, 4.5 km). The measurements were conducted from 13/08/2018 to 16/08/2018 by scientists from Lomonosov Moscow State University and Zubov State Institute of Oceanography. Water levels were measured using automated water level loggers (Solinst and Keller) with measurement frequency of 1 minute. JAVAD GNSS receivers were used for linking the water levels into a uniform vertical coordinate system. Discharge measurements were performed using Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) RiverRay by Teledyne. %I 4TU.Centre for Research Data
