Perusing this dataset first is strongly recommended. It provides the context information on the collection, how the data have been generated, how they can be reproduced/ accessed/used, how they are named and organized in this collection. It also provides a redistribution of the DualSPHysics software suite used to generate the data.
The file Commentary.pdf in this dataset provides
information on the generalities of the collection (physics, modelling,
solver), on the test case (the dam-break flow impinging on a vertical
wall), on the simulation datasets (aim, possible usages, creation and
content, access, decompression, etc.), and on the research context.
Reading that file first is strongly recommended.
The companion datasets, then, contain the output results for values of the resolution parameter H/dx=800, 1600, 3200, 6400, leading to simulations with 1M, 5M, 20M, 82M fluid particles, as specified in the names of the datasets.
This one dataset also includes the images of the flow fields for each file in the output datasets above; users can preview their content and evaluate which files to download and inspect avoiding bulk downloads.
