cff-version: 1.2.0 abstract: "<p>An experimental setup involving various sensors mounted on an AFP head was implemented to simultaneously measure the sources of manufacturing variations</p><p>in AFP composites. The measurements were made during the layup to investigate the relative significance of these sources. The experimental setup consisted of an AFP head instrumented with a laser tracker, a camera and laser line scanners. Each of these sensors measured a particular source of variation. The laser tracker measured robot accuracy. The camera measured tow lateral movement. The laser line scanners measured the width of the tow before and after compaction.</p><p><br></p><p>This dataset contains the measured data from the sensors mentioned above.
