To obtain the melting law of molten salt in the storage tank under the action of built-in heat sources, ANSYS Fluent software was used to investigate the effects of electric heater arrangement schemes and different heating powers on the melting law of molten salt in a novel high-temperature molten salt single tank. Additionally, a numerical study was conducted on the melting process of molten salt when it solidifies inside the storage tank under extreme operating conditions.
