abstract: "Herein, we attempted to predict hemoglobin (Hb) decrease by observing uterine artery Doppler indices during the early postpartum period. It was a prospective cohort study. After delivery, while the patient was in the delivery room we measured uterine size and uterine artery doppler parameters. Complete blood counts were obtained from the patients at postpartum hours 4 and 24 and the results were recorded.  The patients’ postpartum and prenatal Hb and Htc values were compared via uterine artery indices."
