The "My Wellness Check" dataset is the product of a longitudinal study conducted to understand and improve the wellbeing of university students and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research utilized an intelligent system, collaboratively designed by students, staff, and mental health professionals, to collect and analyze wellbeing data. The objective was to assess and respond to the evolving wellbeing needs within a university setting during a global health crisis. The research was applied in nature, aiming to provide actionable insights. Data collection was achieved through regular wellbeing assessments, engaging nearly 30,000 participants over two years. The methodology combined theoretically-derived wellbeing factors with those identified by community participants, ensuring a comprehensive and contextually relevant approach. The dataset comprises quantitative and qualitative data, reflecting real-time community wellbeing and the efficacy of various institutional responses. This rich dataset is instrumental for studies focusing on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on academic communities and the effectiveness of targeted wellbeing interventions.
