abstract: "<p>This data release contains CT scan data of the cores collected from the drilling KB-101 in 2011 in Borssele, which was part of the 5 drillings for a preliminary geological, geotechnical, and hydro-geological investigation for the site characterization of the Borssele 2 Power Plant. The cores are stored at COVRA's premises.</p><p><br></p><p>The borehole KB-101 was drilled to a total depth of 200 m. A total of 201 cores have been collected. 10 cores are from Boom Clay, 25 cores are from Watervliet Clay, 59 cores are from Asse Clay (all Paleogene clay) formations (between 70 m and 200 m depth).
