cff-version: 1.2.0 abstract: "This dataset contains the video recording associated with the publication. In the first video, the heat profile generated by the ultrasound transduecr used for the ultrasound neuromodulation experiment is observed using the Schlieren system. The trasnduecr is placed in the same Schlieren setup configuration used to validate the ultrasound field and a thermocouple is placed close to the tip of the transducer. The ultrasound is turned on for 60 seconds with the same input voltage used during the ultrasound neuromodulation experiment, resulting in a maximum temperature increase of 0.5 °C. Due to the low output pressure of the trasnducer at this driving conditions, the US field profile is barely visible. In addition, it can be seen that the heat profile generated by the transducer is very shallow its tip.In the second video, the driving voltage of the US transducer is increased 4.5 times. Also in this case, the heat profile generated by the trasducer remains rather shallow the tip of the transducer and the water surface, suggesting that the heat does not reach the neuronal culture and it is dispersed at the liquid surface, rather than towards the neurons." authors: - family-names: Saccher given-names: Marta orcid: "https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9509-7815" - family-names: Kawasaki given-names: Shinnosuke - family-names: Proietti Onori given-names: Martina - family-names: van Woerden given-names: Geeske M. - family-names: Giagka given-names: Vasiliki orcid: "https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0822-2121" title: "Video recordings associated vith the pubblication: Focused ultrasound neuromodulation on MEA" keywords: version: 1 identifiers: - type: doi value: 10.4121/17055329.v1 license: CC0 date-released: 2021-11-22
