***General Introduction***
This dataset contains data collected during downward infiltration experiments at Hebrew University of Jerusalem

It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work.

The data in this data set was collected at the Department of Soil and Water Sciences - The Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment.

***Purpose of the test campaign***
The purpose of these experiments was to investigate the effects of time-dependent contact angle on water infiltration into subcritically water-repellent soils.

***Test equipment***
The contact angle was measured for sessile drops placed on uncoated, ethanol coated and oleic acid–ethanol solution-coated glass beads using a goniometer (EasyDrop DSA20E, Hamburg, Germany). Infiltration experiments for three glass beads were carried out in 60 cm glass-bead column under ponding condition with a constant water head of 3 cm.

***Description of the data in this data set***
The data included in this data set has been organised as:

Figure 1. Time-dependent contact angle, CA(t), for: (a) Clean glass beads; (b) Ethanol coated glass beads; (c) Oleic-acid coated glass beads

Figure 2. Wetting front position versus time for:(a)Clean glass beads; (b)Ethanol coated glass beads; (c)Oleic-acid coated glass beads

Figures 3a and 3b. ql versus l and l versus t data plot for clean glass beads.

Figures 3c and 3d. ql versus l and l versus t data plot for ethanol coated glass beads.

Figures 4a and 4b. ql versus l and l versus t data plot for oleic-acid coated glass beads.

MATLAB code for time-dependent-CA Green-Ampt model using the measured data in Figure 4 as an example.
