Dataset

This dataset accompanies the study “Phage tRNAs evade tRNA-targeting host defenses through anticodon loop mutations” and contains data generated to uncover how bacteriophages adapt their transfer RNAs (tRNAs) to escape bacterial immune systems. The research objective was to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which phage-encoded tRNAs avoid host-encoded tRNA-targeting defenses, focusing on sequence variations in the anticodon loop. Data were collected through comparative genomics of phage genomes, structural and sequence analyses of phage tRNAs. The dataset includes genome annotations, tRNA sequence data, and mutational analyses.
